Le Sort (Pronounced “Luh Soar” / French for Destiny) started as an Invite-ONLY Makeup Studio in early 2022 and slowly branched into a makeup brand later that year. The first launch of 4 chunky glitter gels was October 1st, 2022. Cassandra Color is the Owner & Manufacturer of all the products sold. This brand was started by Cassandra hand-mixing individual glitter batches, and hand-trimming lashes for makeup clients only. Word of mouth spread and here we are!

Le Sort is based right outside New Orleans in Slidell, Louisiana, and is sold seasonally in multiple store fronts, as well as online. Lashes are hand selected and individually examined and/or trimmed for easier use. Every single formula-related product is handmade to order.

Cassandra Color is a makeup artist, and face painter with 15+ years of experience. She has a YouTube channel that published for over 6 years. She is a New Orleans transplant, but has been here for over 10 years, originally from Decatur, Illinois. She claims New Orleans as her true home. Cassandra has spent 10 years bartending on bourbon street, and is a single mom of 1, New Orleans parade dancer, and works in Healthcare Sales.

Every product is personally tested by Cassandra Color, and a small group of select professionals for a minimum of 2-4 weeks before being listed for sale, but never on animals. ALL products are vegan, and 100% of products are paraben free. ONLY natural preservatives are used to prevent the growth of fungi, bacteria, and mold. Everything is sensitive skin friendly. Every container is sterilized before formulas are placed in them, and tamper seals are on every product before use.
